This course breaks down the fundamentals of hydraulic systems and shows what a basic bleed actually accomplishes—no prior knowledge needed. You’ll learn how the system works, the key components involved, and the common symptoms that signal it’s time for a bleed. We’ll cover the essential tools for both SRAM and Shimano brakes, explain DOT fluid vs. mineral oil, and highlight safe handling practices. With clear demonstrations of each brand’s bleeding method, you’ll leave understanding the process, the prep, and when your brakes truly need attention.
