Race Face Era is expected to last five times as long as a typical alloy ring for less than twice the cost.

  • Everlasting. Light.

Era is expected to last five times as long as a typical alloy ring for less than twice the cost. By bonding three parts made from optimal materials, we made a chainring with the weight of aluminum and the lifespan of steel. Era is a chainring without compromise.

    Play the long game.

The Era ring is made of three parts, letting us use the best-performing material for each. For the teeth, that’s stainless steel, which is stronger (and harder) than titanium with a wear life five times that of aluminum.

    Don’t mess with the best.

The aluminum crank interface is tried, tested and proven on Race Face chainrings. It’s light, it’s durable and with CINCH it’s easy to swap out ring sizes.

    Spidey strength.

Binding it all together is the carbon fiber spider, compressed and co-molded using the same process we developed for Era carbon cranks. This little spider can withstand the torque of a 5.9L Cummins diesel engine. We checked.
