The UDH is designed to optimize shift performance across all bikes as well as create a sensible solution for replacing damaged hangers. The UDH has been widely adopted throughout the cycling industry with hundreds of models already featuring it. By standardizing the fixed position of the derailleur, the UDH creates a better and more consistent shift experience for all drivetrains and bikes.

UDH is the path to upgrade

If you have a Universal Derailleur Hanger it means that your bike is ready for SRAM’s Full Mount drivetrain line-up which includes Eagle Transmission, and RED XPLR AXS. Full Mount derailleurs work around the one universal constant – the center of the rear axle. This opens the possibility for perfect shifting, eliminates unnecessary parts and allows all other features to work in perfect relationship to this constant.

Do I have a UDH on my bike?

Understanding compatibility is easy, there are 3 simple ways to tell if you have a UDH:

1. Step 1: Look at your bike. We imprint the UDH logo onto all our hangers, which is the easiest way to tell. Some brands like Santa Cruz produce their own UDH hangers which can be difficult to identify. If you are unsure of your hanger, move on to step 2.
2. Step 2: For MTB/E-MTB: Search for your bike in the Full Mount Chain Length Guide to verify compatibility. Simply select the Brand, then look for your model and year. If your bike is in the list, congratulations! You have a UDH. If you are still unsure, consider step 3. For Gravel/Road: Please refer to the SRAM Bike Finder to verify compatibility.
3. Step 3: Ask your frame manufacturer. They know best when it comes to their own products and will be able to give you the best answer possible if you are still doubting the results of the first two steps.
